Team profile

Principal Journalist: Kate Tilley, BA, Grad Dip Bus, ANZIIF Snr Assoc, MAICD

Kate has been a journalist since 1976. She has extensive experience as a news/feature writer, sub-editor, public relations consultant and media adviser. She established KT Journalism in 1989, after having worked on newspapers in Hobart, Rockhampton and Brisbane and in varied media roles in Queensland. She has been a feature writer for colour and business magazines.

Journalist: Terry O’Connor

Terry started in journalism in 1979. He has worked on Queensland city and country newspapers and was chief sub-editor of The Courier-Mail for four years. He trains journalists for News Ltd and Fairfax, tutors in journalism at the Queensland University of Technology and is the author of several books, including Hold the Front Page: Writing for Newspapers.

Journalist: Nicole Sosnowski, BJourn, BBus (Advtg)

Nicole has completed a double degree, Bachelor of Journalism and Bachelor of Business, at QUT. She joined KT Journalism in 2010.
